The Finished Product
So I have been working on my rod for a few weeks now and I put the varnish on last night. It took some time to dry so I waited until today to put it together and throw some line. It is a pretty nice rod and it loads a 5 weight line well. It is heavy so it would not be a rod that I would want to fish all day but would be fun for a short day on a small stream.

Looks awesome babe- I think it turned out very good and I think you chose good colors for the wraps. Nice work....now you just need to get out and fish with it.
This rod is beautiful - and I am not really a fisherman but the colors are nice. I think you do a great job on your projects and see them through to the finish. I am very impressed Ben.

K, have you seen the movie 'A River Runs Through It'? It makes me think of you... you should go fish the Lewis and Clark sometime in Montana.. its gorgeous. I use to live right where they made that movie and the fishing is amazing.
