Disco Hare

This is the fly that produced most of the action for me while we were in Idaho. It is a variation of a Hare's Ear Nymph. I added a little crystal flash wing emerging from the wing case and I think it adds a little sparkle to the fly. The pictures are of a Disco Hare with read rib and then another with copper rib. They both work well. Tie one up and give it go!

Hey Ben, I wish you would get together with Brandon and get him hooked on some of your outdoors hobbies! Although he really doesn't like fish so that might not be a good place to start...We really should all hang out sometime though. PS. Your flies look great, even though I've never been fly fishing. :)

So, I know this is my husband and all, but I must say that I am very impressed! I seriously thought those were pictures of flies that he got off of the internet...wrong! Those are pictures he took of flies he tied with his own two crafty hands....what a guy!
